If you are looking for something special and different, then the Palau Requesens in Barcelona is your place. This is a beautiful historical, medieval and unique venue located in the Gothic quarter, city centre, just off Plaza Sant Jaume. It is the oldest historical building in the city, with original roman ruins. It features a main indoor space downstairs for events and an outdoor space/courtyard. Upstair is the beautiful house where Elizabeth of Requesens, vicequeen of Naples, used to live. You can visit the Requesens Palace (XIV century), guided by expert historicians who will show you the different areas of the house and explain the fascinating life of Elisabeth of Requesens and the misterious history of the Palace. Its terrace and tower – it has never been opened to the public until this season – offer a splendid view of the Gothic Quarter!

The Requesens Palace currently offers also a Medieval Show: knights fighting in armors, arabian dancers and jugglers playing with fire, in the palace courtyard. A show that will not leave you indifferent!The activity begins in the courtyard of the Palace Requesens and in the Tinellet a medieval-style dinner will be served, while listening to soft aristocratic music that will make you feel like one of the Vicequeen guests.
